DonadonSDD KRD rupture discs obtained with Nanoscored Technology is a compression-loaded disc or reverse-acting disc, scored around the circumference. This disc has been designed to meet the high quality standards required by 3-A SSI, whose aim is to ensure public health through hygiene equipment.
The KRD model is particularly suitable for the Pharmaceutical, Food, and Biotechnology industries and represents the state-of-the-art for these sectors. This disc is entirely made of AISI 316L stainless steel (or other alloys upon request of the client). It’s smooth surface makes it particularly suitable for C.I.P. and S.I.P. treatments to maintain aseptic conditions. PTFE gaskets, which are certified in compliance with FDA and USP class VI, 3-A, and Eu 10/2011 regulations, facilitate the installation in Clamp fittings (sanitary, Tri-Clamp, Tank Connection).
The operating pressure modifies the camber of the convex disc only when reverse pressure is reached. Upon reversal, the disc opens completely in a few milliseconds along the score line, thus preventing fragmentation from forming.
The KRD disc, with its innovative design, can be used with liquids only and can resist both vacuum and high pressure.

DonadonSDD’ SCD rupture discs obtained with Nanoscored Technology is a compression-loaded disc with a micro-scored calibrated section opening in petals, featuring 4, 6 or more radial scoring. This disc has been designed to meet the high quality standards required by 3-A SSI, whose aim is to ensure public health through hygiene equipment.
The SCD model is particularly suitable for the Pharmaceutical, Food, and Biotechnology industries. This disc is entirely made of AISI 316L stainless steel (or other alloys upon request of the client). It’s smooth surface on the process side makes it particularly suitable for C.I.P. and S.I.P. treatments to maintain aseptic conditions. PTFE gaskets, which are certified in compliance with FDA and USP class VI, 3-A, and Eu 10/2011 regulations, facilitate the installation in Clamp fittings (sanitary, Tri-Clamp, Tank Connection).
The SCD disc reacts to overpressures in just a few milliseconds without fragmentation. Moreover, in many cases, it can be subject to absolute vacuum conditions without the need for supports.

DonadonSDD SCR rupture discs obtained with Nanoscored Technology is a compression-loaded disc or reverse-acting disc with micro-scored calibrated sections opening in petals, featuring 4, 6 or more radial scoring. This disc has been designed to meet the high quality standards required by 3-A SSI, whose aim is to ensure public health through hygiene equipment. PTFE gaskets, which are certified in compliance with FDA and USP class VI, 3-A, and Eu 10/2011 regulations, facilitate the installation in Clamp fittings (sanitary, Tri-Clamp, Tank Connection).
The SCR model is particularly suitable for the Pharmaceutical, Food, and Biotechnology industries. This disc is entirely made of AISI 316L stainless steel (or other alloys upon request of the client). It’s smooth surface makes it particularly suitable for C.I.P. and S.I.P. treatments to maintain aseptic conditions.
The SCR rupture disc is used with gas or liquids only (with the presence of a gas cushion), also under cycling and pulsating conditions, while safety is never affected.
The SCR disc reacts to overpressures in just a few milliseconds without fragmentation. The PTFE coating can ensure additional protection. Moreover, SCR discs can be subject to absolute vacuum conditions without the need for supports.

DONADONSDD DCD rupture disc for aseptic applications consists of:
• a slotted, perforated metal part
• a seal membrane (usually in PTFE but also available in a wide range of materials)
• a protection section
This disc is excellent for use with gas and liquids under static conditions and also for low pressures. The DCD disc reacts to overpressures with total opening in a few milliseconds and without fragmentation. Supports can be provided for vacuum and counter-pressure protection.
DonadonSDD composite rupture discs can protect against vacuum and pressure simultaneously.
PTFE gaskets, which are certified in compliance with FDA and USP class VI, 3-A and Eu 10/2011 regulations, facilitate the installation in Clamp fittings (sanitary, Tri-Clamp, Tank Connection). DCD rupture discs are designed for C.O.P. (Clean-Out-Of-Place) applications.
