The Limit Switch Boxes - Ex d (Flameproof Housing) - D-Box by Eurotec are designed for use in harsh environmental conditions, offering high stability and resilience. Constructed from copper-free aluminum (0.05% copper content) or stainless steel (1.4401), these housings are ideal for applications in salty atmospheres, sulfur gases, and ammonia nitrate environments. They are suitable for use in hazardous areas classified as Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 21, and Zone 22, with certifications II 2G Ex db IIC T6 Gb, II 2G Ex db ia IIC T6 Gb, and II 2D Ex tb IIIC T85°C Db.

Description

Our flameproof Ex d housing is made of copper-free aluminum ( 0.05% copper content) and is therefore suitable not only for harsh environmental conditions with high demands on stability and resilience, but also for applications with salty atmospheres, sulfur gases and ammonia nitrate.

Our pressure-encapsulated Ex d housing is also available in stainless steel (1.4401), making it suitable not only for harsh environmental conditions with high demands on stability and resilience, but also for applications with salty atmospheres, sulfur gases and ammonia nitrate.
