The new UPS module (uninterruptible power supply) is now available for the PREMIO®-Plus 2G electric actuator. The UPS module can be added or retrofitted to all actuator sizes. The nickel metal hydride battery (NiMH) ensures a 30-minute power supply to the actuator after a power failure. The LED light on the UPS module makes it easy to read the current status of the module. With the new solution from ARI, any actuator can be supplied with one UPS module!
The most important information about our new UPS module in brief:
- The UPS module can be retrofitted
- The emergency position can be set via a switch (open/follow control signal/closed)
- The battery is a nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH) battery
- One UPS module for all actuator sizes (for all actuating forces from 2.2kN to 25kN)
- The temperature range of the battery pack is from -20°C to 70°C
- The NiMH battery provides significantly more energy than supercapacitors (approx. factor 8 to 10)
- The current status of the module can be read out via potential-free contacts
- An LED on the front of the UPS module provides information about the current status of the module
