The CIa-VaI Model 100-34 Hytrol Valve is the main (or basic) valve on which all of our aviation fueling control valves are based. It is a hydraulically operated, diaphragm-actuated, globe or angle pattern valve.
Pilot systems are installed on the basic valves to add functions such as flow limiting, surge protection, fuel shut-off, level control, back pressure control and pressure reducing.
All of Cla-Val’s basic valves are manufactured from the finest materials available in the marketplace. For special material requirements, valve castings can be poured in our onsite foundries.
The diverse configurations, an extensive range of material options and the quality of the finished product makes Cla-Val Aviation Fueling Control Valves the most specified valves in the industry.
The Cla-Val Model 100-34 Hytrol Valve is used as the basic unit in almost all Cla-Val automatic control valves for petroleum applications. The 100-34 is a hydraulically-operated, diaphragm actuated, globe or angle pattern valve. It is available in various materials and a full range of sizes. It consists of three major components: body, diaphragm assembly and cover. The diaphragm assembly is the only moving part. The rugged simplicity of design and packless construction assure a long life of the dependable, trouble-free operation. Should the diaphragm become damaged the valve will close tight, providing a “fail-safe” operation.
